John J. Mitchell, Jr.

John Joseph Mitchell Jr., aged 77, passed away on April 9, 2025, and was lovingly reunited with his late parents, John and Helen Mitchell. He is deeply mourned by his cherished sister, Mary Ann Mitchell, his nephew, Daniel Epps, and Daniel's wife, Summer Epps, along with many cousins and friends.

John was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School and Penn Tech. He was called to serve his country during the Vietnam War. After dedicating years of service at U.S. Steel's Braddock Works, he enjoyed his retirement immersed in his passions, which included muscle cars and his car club, his beloved pet cats, James Bond films, and a wide array of books spanning many genres.

Memorial Service for John will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 9:00am in Calvary Catholic Cemetery Pittsburgh (at the Garden Mausoleum) 718 Hazelwood Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA  15217.
