John S. Palko, Jr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 17, 2026, in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, at the age of 73. Born on December 20, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, John led a life filled with love, commitment, and devotion to his family.

John was married to the love of his life, Pamela S. (Manson) Palko since 1981. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and joy. John took immense pride in being a loving father to Laura (Justin) Palmiere and Susan Palko. He found great fulfillment in his role as a grandfather, and his granddaughter, Jordyn Palmiere, brought him immeasurable joy.

John had a dedicated career as an accountant, where he applied his skills and expertise with unwavering commitment Yet, it was the moments shared with family that defined his legacy.

He leaves behind his dear wife, cherished daughters, and beloved granddaughter, as well as his brothers Donald and James. John was preceded in death by his parents, John Sr. and Ellen (Crowley) Palko, his sister, Ellen, and brother Paul.

As family and friends gather to honor John's life, they will find comfort in the memories they've made together, celebrating the remarkable man he was. Visitation with family will take place at George Irvin Green Funeral Home in Munhall, PA, on February 23, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Additional services will continue on February 24, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, with a concluding time of 11:00 AM.
