John Charles Price

On November 18, 2016, age 69 of Cranberry Township, formerly of Munhall.  John was born in Pittsburgh on March 2, 1947 and the son of the late John W. Price, Jr. and Helen K. (MacDougall) Price.  Husband to Mary Lou (Noday) Price married on December 27, 1969 and father of John J. Price (43) and William C. Price (40).  Proud grandfather to the joys of his life—Liam J. Price (5) and Evan A. Price (3), sons of William C. Price and Amy C. (Allegretto) Price.  Brother of Margaret (Price) Heine (married to Ward Heine).  Alumni of St. Edmunds Academy, Shadyside Academy and Lafayette College with a degree in metallurgical engineering.  Distinguished career at United States Steel Corporation from 1969-2009 retiring as a Vice President.  Family and friends are welcome to attend a service at Plains United Presbyterian Church, 326 Plains Church Road, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with a celebration brunch hosted by his family at the Pittsburgh Marriott North, 100 Cranberry Woods Drive, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania immediately following the church service starting at approximately 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Plains United Presbyterian Church or your charity of choice.  Please share your condolences at www.georgeigreenfuneralhome.com.
