John Willis Walker III

John Willis Walker III, 55, of McKeesport, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, after a courageous, hard-fought battle with cancer. This die hard classic car enthusiast’s passion for the cruises was outshined only by his love for his family. John was the beloved husband for 29 years of his best friend, Vicki; loving father of Tori (Devin) Webb, John (Jenna) Walker IV, Michael (Angelina) Walker, and Logan (Tiffany) Walker; cherished “Czar” of Bella, Mackenzie, Lena, Devin Jr, and Maverick; dearest son of Nancy “Mimi” and the late John “Pappy” Walker Jr; treasured brother of Michele (Vince) Balistrieri, Robin (Jim) Weisser, Guyann (Chris) Bailey, and Dawn (Brian) Schempp; admired brother-in-law of Mike (Lanyce) Sullivan, Brian (Jill) Sullivan, and Matt (Jill) Sullivan; revered uncle of several nieces and nephews; and prized friend of many more.

John dedicated his life to providing for his family and taking care of the people he loved. He owned and operated his own irrigation company, Affordable Irrigation Inc, for 24 years alongside his wife. Although he was dedicated to his work, John’s passion was always wheels. Despite the auto racing he did in his earlier days, his true love was with his “old cars” and restoration projects in his garage, which was his happy place. He joyfully had over 20 different cars in his collection throughout the years. One of them being his 1956 Studebaker, in which he proudly won a trophy with in his final cruise.

Friends and family will be recieved on Thursday, September 28, from 2-8 PM at the George irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 main Street, Munhall 15120, ((412)461-6394), where a funeral service will be held at 6 PM with Pastor Nick Stephanovic officiating.
