He is survived by his brother Bill, sister-in-law Larimee, niece Danna (Tyler), nephews Trenton (Grace) and Walker, and great-nephew Rhys. Joe is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

One of Joe’s favorite pastimes was riding his motorcycle. He was an active member in Allegheny County’s chapter of A.B.A.T.E and served as the Chapter Assistant Coordinator (Vice President). He loved traveling to various places on his motorcycle such as Hazen and Sturgis, attending events, and participating in benefits through A.B.A.T.E. Joe was proud of his motorcycle and the work that he was able to do and the community that he was able to create because of it.

Joe also loved photography. He loved photographing family events and his niece and nephews through different stages of their lives. His pictures were always something he was proud of and loved to share through his JGH Photo Art page. His family will be able to look back on various memories through his eyes because of the wonderful pictures that he was able to capture.

One thing that you could always count on from Joe was his ability to finish any movie quote or song lyric that you started. He loved being able to connect with those around him because of movies.

Joe was a foodie. Having the ability to travel for work allowed him to try various cuisines. He was always able to give you the best food recommendations. Joe loved being with his friends from A.B.A.T.E, whenever he tried a new restaurant.

Joe had a mind for technology. He was in IT and was a subcontractor at UPMC.

Joe was able to give the ultimate gift of organ donation at the end of his life. Joe was able to donate various organs to people in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Joe is a hero and his legacy will continue to live on. As he once said: Arrive, Raise Hell, and Leave.
