Joseph E. Novakowski 66 of West Mifflin, on January 10, 2014. Retired correction officer fo Western Penitentiary, member of Homestead Park United Methodist Church and the United States Marine veterans of Vietnam War. He is the loving husband of Darlene M. (Funk); loving father of Joseph E.,II (Young Hee) of Pittsburgh, Jason M. of West Mifflin and Jessica M. of Munhall; brother of Stella Vachon of CA, John Novakowski of Pittsburgh and the late JoAnn Novakowski; cherished grandfather of James, John, Justin, Jeremy and Hannah. Friends received on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street Munhall, 412-461-6394. Funeral Services will be in Homestead Park United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M.
