June Foradas

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June (Colledge) Foradas on January 8, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Foradas Sr., loving mother of Denise June Foradas (and Scott), and Daniel Foradas Jr (Donna). Dear grandmother of Jeffrey Gretz (Susan) and Christina (Foradas) Rodriguez (Rob). Great grandmother of Nicholas Gretz and Nathaniel Rodriguez.

June was born and raised in the Steel Valley area of Pennsylvania. She became a resident of Fort Pierce, Florida, later in life. She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church of West Mifflin, PA, and previously the First Baptist Church of Homestead, PA.

As a licensed insurance professional, she worked along side her husband to build a successful insurance agency. She continued working as manager/customer service in her daughter Denise’s agency later in life, and was recognized as employee of the month often, due to her fine work ethic.

Prior to that she worked as manager in  the Foradas’s United Candy Shop of Homestead and secretary in the office of Mesta Machine Co. of West Homestead.

She was an avid golfer, loving the sport, and achieving several awards of recognition from her golf club.

June will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 18, from 10-11:30 AM at the George Irvin green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, 15120 (412-461-6394), where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis.
