Katherine Evans

88, formerly of Lincoln Place, died January 20, 2011 at Walnut Ridge Memory Center in Greensburg.  She was the beloved wife of 41 years of George F. Evans, who predeceased her in 2005.  Mrs. Evans, born April 29, 1922 in Punxsutawney, Pa was a daughter of the late Reed and Dolly (Miller) Hawk.  She was a former president of the Homestead Women's Club was a private duty LPN for several years.  She is survived by her daughters, Geraldine Carr of Munhall and Kay (Jim) Winkler of Greensburg; granddaughters Kimberly Anderson and Shelly Titmus; great-grandchildren Adam, Nicholas, Harley, Luke and Bridget; and nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Evans was also predeceased by her first husband Wilson Randolph, her grandson Richard Anderson and her siblings Kenneth and Donald Hawk and Virginia Ward.  Friends may call Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc. 3511 Main St. Munhall Pa 15120 412-461-6394 where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 A.M.
