Kenneth Dale Hanselman,
Age 88, of Munhall, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 6, 2025 surrounded by his family. Kenneth’s life was filled with an unwavering devotion to faith, love of his family, and for his country. Kenneth proudly served during the Korean War as an airman in the U.S. Air Force. Kenneth retired from Diamond Wire Spring Company where he had been tasked to work on various projects for commercial and government clients. Kenneth was a licensed private detective in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. His passion for woodworking often spurred creative crafts genuinely loved by everyone who received them. He was often a fixture on his riding mower cutting the lawn, watching Pittsburgh sport teams, interacting with neighbors, and joking with anyone he could. He shared endless jokes even if they made no sense, but they brought humor and smiles to those he interacted with. However, his greatest fondness was family gatherings when everyone was together whether it was a birthday party, a holiday, or just a simple cookout.
Kenneth was born in Millvale, Pennsylvania to the late Louis and Margaret (Steigerwald) Hanselman. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; his stepson, Stephen (Marnie) Sutch of Rostraver Township, his stepdaughters, Nicole (Robert) Krznar of Oakdale, Stephanie (Doug) Hughes of Munhall; grandfather to Noah, Josh, and Rome; his beloved dogs Nellie and Sophie; the brother of the late Regis, Margaret, Homer, and Bill.
Kenneth will be missed by his family and friends, but he wants no tears to be shed. He has gone home where he will forever be filled with joy in the embrace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
