Kimberly R. (Watkins) Orbin, of Whitaker, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026.
Kim was the beloved wife of 51 years to her high school sweetheart, Richard Orbin. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love. She was the loving mother of Holly (Ralph) Schmitt and Roy Orbin.
Kim cherished her beloved dog, Pearl Rose and granddog, Stu, who brought her great joy and companionship throughout the years.
A lifelong member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Kim faithfully served her church community in many capacities throughout her life. She was a proud member of the church choir, church council, Pollyanna Class, and was actively involved in church bazaars and dinners. Her faith and dedication to her church family were at the heart of who she was.
Kim loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed camping, being a permanent camper at Mountain Pines Campground for over 30 years. She was also a talented and creative crafter who enjoyed making handmade greeting cards and beautiful floral arrangements that she lovingly shared with family and friends.
Family meant everything to Kim. She shared a special bond with her cousins, Renee Edwards and Sharon Kruse, and treasured the love, laughter, and memories they created together. She was deeply devoted to all of her family and cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved.
Kim will be deeply missed by her loving family, friends, church family, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, creativity, faith, and unwavering love for others will be remembered always.
