Larry N. Seigworth

Larry Seigworth, 86, a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, May 10^th, 2023. He was born on December 13^th, 1936 to the late Audrey and Nelson Seigworth.

Larry had a smile and sense of humor that could light up a room and make everybody laugh. He made friends with everyone who approached him and would tease his friends and family daily. He married the love of his life, Janet, in 1957, graduated from Pittsburgh University in 1958, and then became an accountant at Hosak, Specht, Muetzel, and Wood, LLP. Larry and his wife lived in Munhall, PA for over 50 years, and later retired from Sto-Rox School District after years of service in the business administrative department.

Throughout his years of devotion, he was an exceptional organist, choir director, and elder at his church, Bailey Avenue United Presbyterian Church, Homeville Christian Church, and Waterfront Christian Community Church. He and his wife loved music and sang in many religious choral groups. In Larry’s spare time, he enjoyed sci-fi  movies, being outdoors, spending time in his greenhouse, taking care of his orchids, and travelling around the world, making memories with his family.

Larry is survived by his wife, Janet, of 65 years, his son Gregory and his children Garrett and Dana, and Larry’s daughter, Michelle (Keith Kraus) and their children, Nevin (Sara Kraus), McKenzie, and Keah (Logan Kienholz).

Family and Friends are invited to honor Larry’s memory and celebrate his wonderful life at George Irvin Green Funeral Home in Munhall, PA, ((412)461-6394) on Saturday, May 13^th from 6-8 PM and Sunday, May 14^th from 12-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at George Irvin Green Funeral Home on Monday, May 15^th at 11 AM. A committal will follow at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery.
