Leah Kay Stapf Masar

June 18, 1959 — July 31, 2023

Ellwood City

Leah Kay Stapf Masar born June 18, 1959, age 64, passed away on July 31, 2023 at her home in Ellwood City. Leah was born to the late Karl Stapf and Joy Jordan of West Mifflin.

Leah was a lover of animals, estate sales, gardening, do-it-yourself projects, and bending the rules. She had a breadth of life knowledge and a song for every occasion. Leah was a mother, a sister, an aunt, a companion, and a hair stylist for over 40 years, but first and foremost, she was a woman of her own volition.

Leah is survived by her daughters, Camille (Ryan) Hixon of Munhall, and Callie Cortazzo (Tyler Stenger) of Pittsburgh, her siblings Terry (Rege) Schuchert of North Huntingdon, Connie Moneck of West Mifflin, and James (Renee) Stapf of Herminie, step-mother Billie Stapf of Albion, highschool sweetheart and life-long soulmate Thomas Stetz of Ellwood City, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Leah is pre-deceased by her sister Heidi Stapf Overmier and nephew Ian Overmier.

“It’s hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember.”

The funeral will be a PRIVATE viewing with only close family members present.
