Lillian E. (Kubancsek) Krescanko went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the age of 101. Born in Pittsburgh to the late Gilbert Gaza Kubancsek and Mary (Ferrer) Kubancsek.
Lillian loved life and she loved her family and friends. Almost until her last days, she was constantly on the go and would always be a willing companion for breakfast. She was the true matriarch of the family. She loved to cook. She loved to laugh. She was feisty, funny and had no problem sharing her opinion. She was kind-hearted and caring. Even after a long and remarkable life to 101 years, her passing feels too sudden to her loved ones, and her loss is deeply and immeasurably felt by those who loved her.
She leaves behind her beloved son Ronald (Carol) Krescanko, her cherished grandchildren Tracey (Dom) DiNofrio, Ryan (Jennifer) Krescanko, Keith Humbel, Kevin (Lacreshia) Krescanko, and Stacey (Mike) Aschenbrenner, and great-grandchildren Alison (Gabe) Ryan, Adam DiNofrio, Meghan DiNofrio, Noah Aschenbrenner, Michael Krescanko, Gabriel Krescanko, Caine Krescanko, and Cole Krescanko. Lillian is predeceased by her loving husband Stephen Krescanko, children Michelle Humbel and Danielle Medvan, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Family and friends will be received at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120 on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 12:00 PM in St. Thomas the Apostle, St. Therese R.C Church Worship Site. Burial will follow.
