Lisa J. Perris

February 24, 1962 — March 19, 2026

Pittsburgh

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa J. Perris, who left this world on March 19, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she was born on February 24, 1962. Lisa’s life was a beautiful tapestry of love, dedication, and joy, and her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her.

Lisa dedicated over 19 years to teaching preschool at Love and Care Daycare in Duquesne, PA, where her gentle spirit and nurturing heart shaped the lives of countless young children. Her passion for teaching was only matched by the deep love she held for her family, especially her grandchildren. Lisa's favorite pastime was spending treasured moments with Gustav D. Tytke, Maci Delmer, and Aubree Delmer—each grandchild lighting up her life in a way words can scarcely capture.

Beyond her professional and family life, Lisa delighted in simple joys that brought her happiness and peace. She loved vacationing at the beach, the soothing rhythm of the waves mirroring the warmth she shared with others. She found joy in playing bingo, indulging in shopping excursions, and exploring craft shows—activities that reflected her lively and sociable nature. Lisa was also a devoted companion to her beloved dogs, Hooch and Faith, whose affectionate presence brought comfort and happiness to her days.

Lisa's warmth extended beyond her immediate family to include her husband, David Perris, with whom she shared a life filled with devotion and companionship. Her daughter Melissa (Brenden) Delmer and the entire extended family, including nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, remain a testament to the legacy of love she created. Lisa’s brothers Mark Lesko and Ron Lesko stand alongside them, holding close the memories of a sister who was their steadfast confidante and friend.

The family also remembers with affection those who preceded her: her father John Lesko, mother Katherine Foster, sister Barbara Lesko, and brothers John Lesko and Paul Lesko. Though no longer with us, their memories live on within the family’s heart and in the life Lisa so beautifully led.

To honor Lisa’s remarkable life, visitations will be held at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home at 3511 Main St., Munhall, PA 15120. On March 22, 2026, friends and family may pay their respects between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM, and again from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The following day, March 23, visitations will continue from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and then again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 12:00 noon in St Thomas the Apostle Parish - St. Therese Worship Site.  (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH)

Lisa J. Perris was a beacon of kindness and love whose presence enriched every life she touched. Though she has departed this world, the joy, compassion, and devotion she exhibited remain as enduring gifts to all who knew her. Her spirit lives on—in the laughter of children she taught, in the hearts of her family, and in the quiet moments shared with those who loved her dearly. We hold onto her memory with profound gratitude and tender remembrance.
