Lucinda Torkowsky

Lucinda Torkowsky on August 11, 2020, age 66 of Pittsburgh, formerly of Munhall.  Lucinda was born in Homestead the daughter of the late Robert and Ann (Vandergraft) Barone.  Beloved mother of Melissa Barnes and William Barnes.  Loving grandmother of Taylor, Ashley and Jacob;  Sister of Robin (Pete) Uplinger; Aunt to Charles (Aimee) Lippert, Tracy (Rory) Bennett, and Kimberly Uplinger; Great Aunt to Natalie, Alaina, and Leroy James; and still friends with her separated husband Thomas Torkowsky.  Lucinda was a former school guard at Charles and Vondera St. in Munhall and a former manager at the Maxi Saver Cinema in West Mifflin.  She liked to go to bingo games and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan especially the Penguins.  Family and friends received on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 2 - 4 PM & 6 PM until the time of the Blessing Service at 8:30 PM with Fr. Nicholas Mastrangelo officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Lucinda's granddaughter Taylor Yothers college fund.  For visitation please follow CDC guidelines wear a mask and follow social distancing.  Please share your memories and condolences at georgeigreenfuneralhome.com.
