Margaret J. "Peggy" (Jantek) Hornyak

Peggy Hornyak age 87 of West Homestead passed away on June 25, 2023.  She was born in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Kozma) Jantek.  Beloved wife of 67 years to the late Michael Hornyak.  Loving mother of Michael (Sandi) Hornyak, Janie (John) Hochlinski, and the late Judith Hutchinson (husband C.R. survives). Cherished grandmother of Michael Eric, Matthew, Molli and Addi.  Sister of the late Frank Jantek.  She was a longtime member of Homestead United Presbyterian Church.  Peggy had a passion for cooking especially Sunday dinners for her family.  She loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren who were a big part of her life.  Funeral arrangements are private and entrusted to the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. Munhall (412-461-6394).   Memorial donations may be made in Peggy’s name to a charity of your choice.  Peggy’s favorite saying was “We may not have it all together, but together we have it all”.  A Celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at a later date.  Please share your memories and condolences at georgeigreenfuneralhome.com
