Margaret T. Revak, a beloved mother, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at UPMC Jameson. Born on January 15, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Margaret was a proud second-generation American with deep Hungarian roots. She was a dedicated individual whose professional journey included being a West Homestead Crossing Guard, a position she cherished, as well as working in retail at Target, Giant Eagle, Kaufmans, and Gabriels.
Margaret was a graduate of West Mifflin High School. Her love for art manifested through her various hobbies; she loved to paint and craft, leaving a mark by designing calendar artwork for the Turtle Creek MHR Center and painting beautiful tapestries for St. Peter and Paul Church in Homestead. Her artistic flair was showcased in the HUD Building in Munhall, an achievement that filled her with pride.
A devoted member of St. Therese RC Church, Margaret’s faith was an essential part of her life. She was known for her generous spirit, often sharing her culinary delights with family and friends, especially her famous apple pies and Hungarian shlishkes.
Margaret leaves behind her loving family, including her son, Joseph Thomas Pritchard; her daughter, Mary Pritchard; her cousins, Brenda (John) Noe, Terry Ricker, and Thomas (Kathy) Perlaky; her best friend, Cece Pribicin; and beloved pets, Ginger the grand-dog and Buggaboo the grand-cat. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Revak, and her parents, James A. and Margaret D. (Zaker) Perlaky, as well as her cousin, Frank Perlaky.
Visitation will be held on February 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, located at 3511 Main St., Munhall, PA, with a Blessing Service at 12:30 PM with Father Jim Bachner officiating. Burial will follow.
