Marleen Rose Vohar, born on July 3, 1938, in Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, in McKeesport. Her life, marked by dedication to family, work, and her many interests.
Professionally, Marleen was known for her commitment and capability. She held the position of Clerical Supervisor. Her talents extended beyond the office and into her family’s endeavors, where she worked as the Shop Foreman for her husband’s handyman business.
Marleen enjoyed tending to her garden, particularly when growing cucumbers— which she made into the absolutely best pickles.
She leaves behind her son Jerome (Evelyn) Shaub, who devoted much of his life to her care. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Vohar, with whom she shared many years of companionship, hard work, and mutual support.
