Marlene J. Roth

Marlene Jean Roth, of White Oak, PA, formerly of Lincoln Place, passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2026 at age 90. She was born on May 7th, 1936, in Homestead, PA, the youngest daughter of late George and Ethel (Czugeber) Bishkoff, and sister of late Shirley (Carl) Price. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” R. Roth of Lincoln Place, PA. Cherished mother of Jacqueline (Daniel) Beck of Fayetteville, TN and Paul John (Tracy) Roth of Butler, PA. Beloved Grammy of Stephen (Crystal) Beck, Dana Beck, Nicholas Roth, and Christina Roth, and Great-Grammy of Annalee Beck, and soon to be, John Daniel Beck and Luke Robert Beck. A devoted sister-in-law to Ralph (Eva June) Roth of Boca Raton, FL, formerly West Mifflin, loving aunt to several nieces and nephews, and lifelong dear friend to Marjorie “Midge” Orris and countless others. She worked as a customer service manager for Vision Benefits of America in Whitehall, PA and retired in 2001, leaving behind many friends. Marlene relocated to White Oak Village in 2010 and truly enjoyed the friends and community she found and made there. She loved visiting the beach and was an avid reader her whole life. Marlene’s family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at Concordia at Cabot in Cabot, PA for their support and compassion in Marlene’s final days. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 12, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street in Munhall 15120, (412) 461-6394. The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 13 at 10 am at the funeral home, followed by an internment ceremony in the Mausoleum Chapel at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery at 401 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
