Mary Lou Hawk

Mary Lou Hawk passed away in Coraopolis, PA on the afternoon of June 15, 2025, at the age of 87. Daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Hawk of Lincoln Place, Mary Lou graduated from St. Peter’s High School in McKeesport, PA, and worked for the Homestead Works of the US Steel Corporation as a quality control inspector from the time she graduated from high school until she retired.

Preceded in death by her sister, Sarah T. Shotting, and by her brother, Joseph A. Hawk, Jr., Mary Lou is survived by her ten nieces and nephews: Jean Ann Shotting, Karen Marie Shotting, Stephen (Sue) Hawk, Jennifer (Mark) Terzich, Kenneth (Amy) Shotting and family, Mary Jo (John) Wilen and family, Patricia (David) Seegers and family, Sarah Lynn (Greg) Blatnik and family, Robert (Debbie) Hawk and family, and Kathleen (Ron) Parkinson and family.

Mary Lou will be deeply missed by her family and by all of those who knew her. Arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street in Munhall, PA.
