Mary Jane McDowell

Mary Jane passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Homestead; the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Rusnak) Perhac.  Cherished mother of Mark (Luann) Besnak, Kathee (the late Todd Edmondson) Besnak, and Matt (Judi) Besnak.  Loving Mi Mi  of Audra (Alex) Zillifro, John Besnak, Joshua Edmondson, Jenna Edmondson, and Jake Pons.  Special Great Mi Mi of WIlliam, John and Nicholas Zillifro.  Brother of the late John "Jack" Perhac.  Aunt of Stephen Perhac.  Mary Jane was a retired waitress at the Thompson Run Athletic Association.  She was an avid reader, liked bingo, going to the casnio, dancing, traveling but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.  

Family and friends received on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, 15120 (412-461-6394). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 10am in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, St. Maximilian Kolbe Worship Site, 363 W. 11th Avenue, Homestead, PA  15120.
