Mary E. “Liz” (Handschuh) Mowry of Munhall, went home to her heavenly father on March 26, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Lee A. Mowry.

Beloved mother of Eddie (Ronda) Morrissey, Susie Holgerson, Amy (Jim) Clody, Kathy (Jim) Piel, Erin (Chris) Gress, and Jill (Greg) Schmeiser.

Cherished Nana of Danyelle, Christie, Tyler, Shane, Jimmy, Ryan, Megan, Patrick, Brennan, Elena, Jenni, Valerie, Joey, Emily and Jack.

Great-Nana of Will, Raygen, Gavin, Zeke, Lochlon, Marley, Hunter and Felix.

Dear companion of Jack Connelly.

Special friends Kathy & Dave Hahner and Lois Conway.

She was preceded in death by her foster sister the late Kathleen Komynak.

Liz was involved in many community projects over the years.

Liz was a funeral associate for the Green Funeral Home for over 20 years.

She loved all her family and friends. She will truly be missed.

Friends will be received Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 2-4 PM to 7-9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, 15120 ( 412-461-6394 ). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, St. Therese of Lisieux Church, Munhall.
