Melvin Slater

On June 19, 2015, age 79, of Munhall.  Beloved husband of Betty Ann (Walls) Slater; loving father of Jeff (Kathy) Slater; cherished grandfather of Becky and Katie Slater; brother of Mauvaleen (Leslie) Jones, Denise (Tom) Slater-Siwik and the late Tom (Surviving Carol) Slater.

Member of Munhall #4 Fire Co., Past Master of Lodge #582 F&AM, and was a Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.  Friends received on Monday 2-4 and 6-9 P.M. at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc. 3511 Main St. Munhall 412-461-6394. A Fireman Service will be held Monday at 7 P.M., followed by a Masonic Service at 7:30 P.M., where a Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. In Lieu of floweres memorial donations to Homestead Park United Methodist Church
