84, of Munhall, formerly of N. Braddock, on March 3, 2010. Former Superintendent of West Mifflin Area School District, (1977-1983) also served Turtle Creek Area School (1966-1973) and Frazier Area School (1974-1977) as Superintendent, was a former Junior High Principal at Swissvale (1959-1963) and High School Principal at Beth Center High School in Washington County (1963-1966), a teacher for The Pittsburgh Public Schools and a Chemistry teacher for the Turtle Creek School District. A graduate of University of Pittsburgh receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science, and his Master's Degree in Administration, and also his Doctorate Degree in Education from Indiana University of PA. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran with the Medical Corps serving in the United States and France. He is survived by his loving children Cynthia, Michael and Laura Girman, also nephews and great nephews; preceded in death by a brother Attorney Eugene P. Girman.
