Michael D. Hancharik

Michael D. Hancharik on July 14, 2022 age 80 of Munhall.  Michael was born in Sewickley; the son of the late Victor and Elizabeth (Vish) Hancharik. 

He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. Beloved husband of Jeanie R. Little-Hancharik.  Cherished step-father of Susan (Robert) Grice and Jonathan (Lindsey) Richardson.  Special step-grandfather of Aaron, Hannah, Lincoln and Tristin.  Brother of Victoria Moskal, Robert Hancharik and Victor Hancharik, Jr.

The family would like to thank the Veterans Administration Hospital of Aspinwall for the great care that was given to Michael and his family. In Michael’s younger years he was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.

Family and friends are received on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 6 – 8 PM and Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main St. Munhall, 15120 (412-461-6394) where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Devey officiating. 

A Burial with Military Honors will be on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 1:30 PM in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY).
