In loving memory of Michelle Buggage, who was born on July 30, 1964, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and passed away suddenly on December 1, 2025, in West Mifflin. Michelle's journey through life was characterized by her devotion to her family, her faith, and her professional dedication as an Administrative Coordinator for the UPMC Director of Nursing at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.
Michelle was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, serving for nine years during the Gulf War. She carried the principles of service and commitment throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her. Her warm and giving spirit was complemented by her deep-rooted faith as a devout Christian, which guided her interactions and relationships with those around her.
She took great pride in her ability to nurture those she loved, whether it was cooking her famous barbecues and smoked meats, tending to her garden, or cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. Michelle found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially when shared with family and friends. Her love for spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and siblings exemplified her generous heart and close familial bonds.
Michelle leaves behind her cherished daughters, Shelby L. Buggage and Tiffany (Shawn) Colvin, and is the beloved sister of Erin (Frank) Arcuri and Tracey Lentz. She is also survived by her brother, James (Kim) McDonough, and her treasured grandchildren: Treveon Buggage, Tremier Colvin, Skylar Colvin, and Samaiah Colvin. Michelle's legacy will continue to live on in the many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who were fortunate to call her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, James McDonough; mother, Geraldine McDonough; and sister, Kellie McDonough. These losses are felt deeply, and they join her in spirit as she begins her new journey.
The observances in honor of Michelle Buggage will take place at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home located at 3511 Main St., Munhall, Pennsylvania, 15120. Visitation will be held on December 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 8:00 PM that same day. (Everyone is invited to the luncheon between visitations from 4 - 6pm at Operation Troop Appreciation, 2017 Pennsylvania Avenue, West Mifflin, PA 15122).
As we remember Michelle, we celebrate a life dedicated to service, love, and kindness. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
