Nancy Hobbins

Nancy (Stiver) Hobbins, age 93, of Munhall passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Born in Duquesne, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mercedes (Cusick) Stiver. Beloved wife of Frederick Hobbins for 73 years; Loving mother of Christine (Henry) Cortinovis, Suzanne (Thomas) Morsek and the late Thomas Hobbins; Cherished grandmother of Douglas Cortinovis, Jonathan (Lisa) Cortinovis, Maureen Morsek and the late Patrick Morsek; Special great-grandma to Addyson Cortinovis and Cecelia Cortinovis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Clara Seman and Dora Hope and brothers: Edward, William, Lawrence and Paul Stiver.

Nancy worked for Kaufmanns for many years. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. What she loved most of all was the time spent with her family. Nancy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and Friends will be received on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120 (412-461-6394) where a Blessing Service will be held at 7:30 PM.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project .
