Norma Jean Johnson Creelman, born September 24, 1926, was called home to her Heavenly Father on January 17, 2016. She went peacefully into God’s hands in her home at Asbury Heights Assisted Living, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She grew up and attended Homestead High School where she played in the band and sang in the Homestead Park United Methodist Church choir often as a featured soloist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil Adolf Johnson and Elsie May Hoffer Johnson, and her husband Albert Creelman all of Pittsburgh, Pa. and one of her two brothers, Emil Scott Johnson, of Houston.  She is survived by Scott’s twin brother,  J. Hoffer Johnson (Virginia).  She will be forever loved, missed and yet remembered as a kind, soft spoken and gentle woman with a beautiful voice who used it to praise God.
A memorial service will be held at Asbury Heights (412.341.1030) – Sunday at 2 P.M., 1/24/16. The viewing will be held on Monday from 10-11am at George Irvin Green Funeral Home  Inc. 3511 Main St. Munhall 412-461-6394 where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Norma name to Ashbury Foundation 700 Bower Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15243
