Patricia A. Mamajek

Patricia A. (Farkas) Mamajek, 79, devoted wife of Eugene Mamajek Sr., passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital on August 21, 2025.

Patricia was born on November 23, 1945, to Raymond and Laura Farkas in the South Side of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her brother Raymond Farkas of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was the mother of Amy (Gene) Fu of Columbus, Ohio, and Eugene Mamajek Jr. of Greenville, Tennessee. She took great pride in seeing her grandchildren—Emily, Allyson, Joshua, Hannah, Matthew, and Andrew—mature into adults and strive toward their goals.

Pat was devoted to her faith and was active in St. Theresa’s Church through Mothers Club, Eucharistic Ministry, and the Resurrection Choir, among other activities. She also worked at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Distribution Office.

Visitation will be private.  Please join Pat's family in celebrating her life and Resurrection at a mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 11:00am in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish - St. Therese R.C. Church Munhall.  (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH)   Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.  Arrangements entrusted to the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., Munhall.  

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Pat's name to St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 1 Saint Therese Court, Munhall, PA  15120.
