Patricia Ann Volpe

Patricia Ann (Mioski) Volpe passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Saturday January 20, 2024, age 79 years of Munhall.  She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Ronald F. Volpe, Sr.  Loving Mother of Tracey (Joe) Cibula, Nadine (Rafael) Delao, Robert (Kelly) Torma.  Cherished grandmother of Kylie McGary, Adam Christopher, Jessica and Ralphy Delao, Indika, Keelee and Marek Torma.  Loving great-grandmother of Ella Rae Christopher.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Margaret (Pudis) Mioski, surviving is a sister Marion Wise, and brother James “Chip” McGregor.   Patty worked as a telephone operator for Central Medical Hospital from 1977 until they closed, and then Children's Hospital. Patty “Poo” loved her family dearly, she enjoyed going to the casino with her brother Chip, and her friends Lois and Bobby.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, having a glass of wine with her daughters, and loved a good long island iced tea.  We would like to thank UPMC Family Hospice for the wonderful in-home care you have given to Patty and our family.  Friends and family received on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8PM at the Geroge Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120 (412-461-6394).  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10AM in St. Rita Church - St Thomas the Apostle Parish.  Please share your memories and condolences at georgeigreenfuneralhome.com.
