Paul John Ondechek

Paul John Ondechek, 79, from Munhall, PA passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025. Born on November 14, 1945 in the City of Duquesne to John & Anna (Ominowicz) Ondechek. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his late wife Constance (Besenyi), his sister Jane Ondechek, and grandson Jaxson Knapp.

He will never be forgotten and is survived by his son Jack (Lori Ivaska) Ondechek, his daughter Beth (Travis) Knapp, and his granddaughter Samantha Bruner.

Paul worked for US Steel at the Duquesne works before finishing his career with Allegheny County at Kane Hospital. Paul was a proud veteran of the US Navy. Paul loved classic muscle cars and loved to talk about his Trans-Am. He was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, even the Pirates, and loved to talk about the Steelers and Penguins. He loved all dogs and missed the family dog Maxine.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM in the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 (412-461-6394) where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 10:00am. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors following the service at the funeral home.
