Rachel Besselman

On October 1, 2021, age 94 of Lincoln Place surrounded by her loving family Rachel went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Rachel was born in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Belle (Bott) Logan.  She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Besselman for 62 years.  The two raised their family in Lincoln Place and after long careers the two of them enjoyed cross country drives, boat cruises and over 22 winters retired to Florida.  She leaves behind four daughters Barbara(Peter) Rota, Janice (Jim) McGuire, Diane (Terry) Connelly and Terry Jo (Ed) Harkins.  Her beloved grandchildren Bryan (Andrea) Muha, Scott (Britni) Connelly, and the late William (Candy Kampe) Weis.  Also her cherished great grandchildren Kris, Zack, Nick, Alek, Loghan, Jasmine, Alyssa, Jameson, Jordan and many nieces and nephews.  Rachel attended Duquesne University for religious teachings and worked at the three Lions Club Downtown.  There will be a Memorial Mass at Holy Angels Church of the Blessed Trinity Parish in Hays on October 16, 2021 at 10:30AM followed by a Committal Service in St. John Vianney Cemetery in Carrick.  Please share your memories and condolences at georgeigreenfuneralhome.com
