Reine Theresa Sherlock (Truan)

Mrs. Reine Truan Sherlock, 59, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 7, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was of the Catholic faith.

Reine was born on April 12, 1963 to Ms. Dorothy Barefoot and the late Mr. Robert Truan in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her beloved children, Heather Andrews and Andrew Opsitos.

At a young age Reine could be found playing softball and staying outside until the street lights came on.  She had know her husband since they were 12 years old, but it wasn't until years later that they re-connected and married. Reine worked as a bartender throughout her life and built lifelong friendships. Decorating for the holidays brought immense joy to her heart. Reine was a devoted mother, grandmother, and dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Reine is survived by her husband, Joseph Sherlock; children, Jonathan Opsitos and Austin Redlinger; grandchildren, Logan, Abbie, Julian, and Andi, and a host of extended friends and family.

Family and friends received on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120 (412-461-6394) where a Blesing Service will be held on Monday at 10:00AM with Fr. Nicholas Mastrangelo officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery in West Mifflin.
