Richie Bofo, 49 passed away on July 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love. Known for his fearless approach to life. Richie lived a life that was anything but ordinary. He was the guy that could make anyone laugh, even in the most serious moments-because let's face it life's too short to take seriously. Richie was always ready to crack a smile or leave you laughing so hard you'd forget what you were even upset about in the first place. He wasn't just the life of the party he was the party.
He was so proud of his 3 sons, he lit up every time he spoke about them. He was the best Uncle to all, whether it be his nephews or the children of his closest friends. Richie would do anything for the people he loved, always looking out for his friends and family. He leaves behind countless memories of laughter and good times. Though he is gone, we know he's up there, probably racing something, cracking jokes, and hanging out with Jawz and Hank (his furbabies).
He is survived by his children Dylan, Eli & Richard Bofo; his mother, Betty Bonenberger Bofo, his father, Nicholas (Fran) Bofo; his wife Amy Bane Bofo; sister Abigail (Charles) Steele; nephews Clayton and Blake Steele; his significant other, Kim Lukaszewicz, and her children Doug & Mia Taylor; and much extended family, many treasured cousins (too many to be named), aunts, uncles, and friends
