Richard T. “Foo” Brennan, 77, of Munhall, retired police chief and long-time officer of Munhall Borough and a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at home.
Loving husband of the late Helen (Loughran) Brennan, whom he met at a Marine Corps dance in the Philadelphia Naval Shipyards and, much to her family’s everlasting dismay, married and whisked back to Munhall.
Brother of Joanne Martin of Ft. Wayne, IN, and the late Grace Glackin, Edward, Harry, Earl, Rosemarie Howe, and William.
Beloved father of Richard (Laurie) (late Kathleen Joyce) Brennan, Jr., of Munhall, Karen (Stuart) Watson of Boston, MA, and Michael (Sis) Brennan of National Park, NJ.
Beloved Pop-Pop to Stuart, Jr., Annie (Mike) Moody, Bennet (Meredith), Oliver, Helen, Jennifer, Samantha, Ryan, Sean & Patrick.
Also survived by his best dog Patches, many loving relatives, special friends, Falce’s Restaurant buddies & especially Max Subhankulov, Gene Khorey, and Buddy Brennan who helped him so much in his later years.
