Rita Kovello

Rita M. (Bongartz) Kovello, 77, of Munhall (St. Therese Plaza), formerly of Lincoln Place, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010. She was the wife of the late James P. Kovello. She is survived by one daughter, Rose Race, of Greensburg; one son, James M. (Judy) Kovello, of West Mifflin; three sisters, Mary Obringer, of Whitaker, Bernadette Balistieri, of Lincoln Place, and Alberta Petruzzi, of Baldwin; one brother, James Bongartz, of Whitaker; grandson, Jason (Amy) Rave, of Verona; and granddaughter, Ashley Kovello, of West Mifflin. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3511 Main St., Munhall. Prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Therese of Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Munhall.
