Rita Ann Reola

Rita Ann Reola (Grandillo), born May 10th, 1935, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday July 22nd, 2024. Rita was born in the Hazelwood area of Pittsburgh, married her loving husband, Michael, in 1963, and raised her family in the West Mifflin area. Rita was a loving wife and mother and a devout Catholic. Aside from the time Rita dedicated to raising her family, she also worked at a local physician’s office and volunteered at her church. Rita is preceded in death by her husband Michael "Junior" F. Reola. Rita is survived by her brother Vincent Grandillo as well as her 5 children Lisa (Kenneth) Logsdon, Diane (Bob) Newman, Melissa (Michael) Andrascik, Marcele (husband, Ryan Freytag) Reola, and Michael (Emily) Reola; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. While Rita will be greatly missed by the so many families and friends she touched with her warmth and charm on this earth, she now gets to spend an eternity with God and her loving husband Michael.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 25, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120, (412-461-6394). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning, Friday, July 26, at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish: St. Therese Worship Site, 1 St.Therese Court, Munhall, at 10 AM with Fr.
