Bob Downs (Downsy) of Munhall, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the age of 75. He was born in Munhall, the son of the late Robert and June (Long) Downs. Beloved Husband of Claudia (Stecik) Downs whom he shared 54 years of marriage with. Loving father of Robert L. Downs III, Miranda (Adam) Davern, and Erin (Matt) Marcinko. Cherished grandfather of Brianna, Kiara, Tyler, Makala, Sean, Jada, Ethan and Caleb. Brother of Suzan (Charles) Kondis.

Bob was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, spent many years as a flooring professional with Bob Downs Carpet Installations and DuPont Flooring, and eventually retired as a Conductor with Norfolk Southern. He kept busy in retirement working at the Thompson Run Athletic Association Club, loved watching his grandkids play sports, enjoyed being outside in the pool or “singing” on the front porch. He was an avid dog lover and walked his Ruby daily. He was the definition of a family man and always found the time to make us all feel loved.
