On May 4, 2012, age 82 of Whitaker formerly of Hazelwood;

Beloved husband of Nancy (Hodermarsky) Steele;

Cherished father of Susan Smith, Bernard “Bro”, Robin (Don) Valentine, Charles (Abby) , Sean and the late Robert, Rodney, and Bobbi Jo.

Father – in –law of Sue and Mary Steele;

Grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 19 great – grandchildren;

Brother of Harriet Mercuri;

Preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Mae Steele, 3 grandchildren, sister Laverne Steele and brother Charlie;

Friends received Sunday and Monday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street Munhall (412-461-6394) where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday at 11AM.
