Robert Woodrow Grace Jr. aka "Bob", age 84, of West Mifflin, PA passed into Eternal Glory at 5:37 AM on June 26, 2024, in Jefferson Hospital, surrounded by his loving Wife and family.
He was born April 7, 1940, in Hopewell, Bedford County. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Woodrow Grace Sr. and Grace Harriet (Horton) Grace and his sister Diana Lynn Grace.
Robert is survived by and greatly cherished by his loving wife of 39 years, June 17, 2024, Ruth Ann (Brooks) Grace, as well as by his seven children: Ronald K. Grace of Hazelwood, Bonnie L. (Grace) Dunlap of Florida, Cheryl D. (Michael) Weber of Cheswick, Robin R. (Grace) Bobb of Bridgeville, John S. Grace at home, Robert W. Grace, III of Pleasant Hills, Suzanne N. (Mathew) Hickey of West Mifflin; his fifteen grandchildren: Justin and Ashley Dunlap, Michael, Dylan, Kayla, and Austin Wiesenfeld, Derek Zinkand, Anabelle and Courtney Grace, Aiden Grace, Brynlie, Emmett, Violet, Nora, and Ezra Hickey, as well as, ten great-grandchildren: Lexi, Kahlia, Riley and Briella Dunla, Michael Bennett; and Christian Herrerah, Kallie and Bentley Parker, and Elliana and Camden Fazio; his brother Vaughn K. Grace of Massachusetts and his sister Delores E. (William) Brown of Elizabeth; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Robert proudly severed in the United States Navy and loved his country!
He was a machinist by trade but honestly there was nothing he couldn't do! He had no problem jumping in and tackling any job set before him. He worked at Mesta Machine in Homestead for 17 years and then went on to work at Union Electric Steel in Carnegie from May 7, 1984 until he retired on April 30, 2002. He loved riding his motorcycles and restoring his Alsport and Rupp Centaur Trikes, as well as, riding and enjoying his Burgman Scooters with his wife, and keeping the family cars going. He loved reading the word of God every morning and sharing the love of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with his children and friends or just anyone who would listen to him. He loved each and every one of his brothers and sisters in Christ at The Church of Sutersville as well as all of his friends! His deepest desire was to know that when he left this world for Heaven, that he'd be able to leave with a peace in his heart that one day he'd be reunited with his wife and all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and all of his friends and family in knowing that they all made Jesus Christ their personal Lord and Savior, as he did, and they'd all be together in Heaven for eternity!
