Robert Phillip Jakub

Robert Phillip Jakub of West Mifflin passed away on September 15, 2026 into the arms of his loving Savior. Bob was born on November 25, 1956 to Agnes and William Jakub. Bob was also preceded in death by his two brothers William (Bill) and Alan Jakub. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 45 blessed years, Ella Shirley (Kruse) Jakub. He lived a full and wonderful life making good memories, which will live on fondly among his friends and family. They shared a son, Jason Robert Jakub, daughter-in-law Lacey (Dripps), and two joyful granddaughters, Evangeline (Evie) and Charlotte (Lottie). As “Grandpap,” he was immensely loved by them. He will also be profoundly missed by his nieces who were very near and dear to his heart; Abby Morgan (Raymond) Harris, Grace Morgan and Ellianna (Ellie) Morgan, and other nieces and nephews. Bob was always enthusiastic about learning everything about their hobbies and interests. He was a lover of art and creativity. He once owned his own business as a photo retoucher and artist. He then used his artistic talent to work in advertising sign shops and car wraps. Bob also loved to apply his talent to repurposing old works of art and paintings with fun and creative additions like cryptids, food, and other fun objects. Bob had a devoted heart for the Lord and loved to talk to anyone about their relationship with God. He greatly enjoyed conversations with everyone and could change the energy of a room with his spirituality. He will be missed by his family who loved him, but promises to celebrate his life and memory.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday Nov. 15, 2026, 2 o’clock at Source Church 1922 Pennsylvania Ave. West Mifflin, Pa 15122.
