Robert Jenkins, Sr.

Robert John Jenkins Sr.  passed away on August 28, 2021, age 56, of Brentwood formerly of Greenfield.  Born in Pittsburgh, the son of Jacqueline David and the late Richard Jenkins. Beloved husband of Debra A. (Miller); Loving father of Robert John Jenkins, Jr.; Cherished brother of Patty (Stush) Tofil, Walt, Rich and Ray Jenkins as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert had a passion for weight lifting. He worked as a parking lot attendant for the Pittsburgh Parking Authority and a caretaker for the elderly for many years. He will be remember most for helping others and the love he had for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his dog Tyson.

Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM & 6 PM to 8 PM and Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM & 6 PM to 8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main Street Munhall, PA 15120 (412.461.6394 ). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM in St. Paul Cathedral Parish, St. Rosalia Church worship site with Fr. Daniel Walsh officiating.

A celebration of Roberts life will continue after the Funeral Service at the Soldiers & Sailors Legion Hall on 4059 Boulevard Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
