Robert Kennedy

Age 89, of Pleasant Hills. Co-owner with his brother Bill of the George M. Hall Lumber Co. of West Homestead.  Bob died on Wednesday,March 20, 2013.  Lifelong member of the Homestead Park United Methodist Church.  Bob was a graduate of Westminster College class of 1945.  Son of the late S.L. Kennedy and Sarah Flanigan Kennedy.  Beloved husband of Helen Scholl Kennedy; loving father of Robert D. Kennedy Jr. of Pleasant Hills and Martha (Douglas) Knable of Franklin Park; grandfather of Steven and Lauren Kennedy Kelly, Christine and Kathryn Knable; brother of William (Marge) Kennedy; also nieces and nephews.  Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Saturday and 12:30 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc. 3511 Main St. Munhall 412-461-6394 Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 12 NOON in Homestead Park United Methodist Church.
