Robert W. Schaff

On April 14, 2023, Robert W. Schaff of West Mifflin died at the age of 91.  Robert was born in Homestead; the son of the late Michael and Lucille (Huoy) Schaff.  Beloved husband of the late Teresa E. (Holian) Schaff.  Loving father of Maura L. (Paul) Thomas and the late Robert W. Schaff, Jr.  Cherished grandfather of Kacie (John) Knetzer, and Megan (Ken) Donahoe.  Special great-grandfather of Landis, Kayleigh, and Keegan. 

Robert was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired payroll auditor for Fisher Body.  After his retirement he volunteered as an EMT for West Mifflin Borough. He was a crossing guard for West Mifflin Borough and volunteered at the Intersection, serving food to the homeless.  Robert had a love for fishing, spending time at his cottage in Pymatuning, but most of all spending time with his family and friends. 

Family and friends received on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall (412-461-6394).  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, St. Agnes Worship Site with Fr.
