Robert Smith

On October 29, 2011, age 79, of West Mifflin.  Beloved father of Shawn T. (Veronica) Smith and William R. (Deize) Smith; cherished grandfather of Janice, Peter, Jenny, Jesse and Joelle; brother of the late Thomas Smith.  Owner with his son of Smitty's Place on Homeville Road.  He was a veteran of the Korean War, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, and the Combat Infantryman Badge, Member of the TRAA, the Mifflin Social Club, the Dravosburg VFW, and Ferncliff Beach Assoc.

Friends received on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc. 3511 Main St. Munhall 412-461-6394 Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at St. Therese Church time later.
