Robert D. Sorg

Bob Sorg of Seven Fields, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026 at the age of 83.  He was born in Hazelwood the son of the late Harry and Helen (Dulak) Sorg.  Beloved Husband of the late Kathleen (Waligorski) Sorg; whom he shared 46 years of marriage with.  Loving father of Rachael (Patrick) Kerrish and Michelle (Kirk) Sham.  Cherished grandfather of Blake, Courtney, Amanda and Zachary.  Special brother of Joann Liptak and the late Harriet (Richard) Alexandroff. Bob will aso be missed by his nieces and nephews and his dear friend Debbie Muncie.

Bob was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired Freight Engineer for CSX Transportation.  He liked working out in his garden, enjoyed going out to share a meal, had a real passion for cooking, and enjoyed reading the book of poems that he wrote.  He also enjoyed Sunday drives, going to the movies spending time with his cats Ceasar and Domino but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family.  

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8pm at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.,  130 Wisconsin Avenue, Cranberry, Twp.  16066.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in St. Mark the Evangelist Parish - St. Kilian Worship Site, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry, PA  16066.(TIME LATER).  In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Mark the Evangelist Parish.
