Roberta Calio

On November 20th, 2023, Roberta “Bobbie” C. Calio (Stotlemyer), 77, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was called home to the Lord, surrounded by her loving husband, children, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara (Legato) Stotlemyer; father, Earl Stotlemyer Sr.; brothers, Joseph Stotlemyer (Wife Anita) and Earl Stotlemyer (Wife Georgette); and sister, Debra (Stotlemyer, Husband Carl) Caldrone. She is survived by her brother and sister, Fred Stotlemyer and Erma (Stotlemyer, Husband Homer) Cubbage; children, Lisa Schook (Calio, Husband Michael), Terri Kraft (Calio, Husband Donald); and grandchildren, Colton Kraft, Joseph Kraft, and Hannah Schook. She leaves behind her husband, Joseph R. Calio, after a wonderful 57 years together in marriage until her last breath.

Bobbie was an absolute blessing to everyone she interacted with. From her family to her friends at Planet Fitness, where she was a regular every morning, she was always the focal point of every group she was a part of. Bobbie brought family together with her Sunday dinners, taking her time with what she valued the most—her family.

She was a caring mother, grandmother, and friend to all who crossed her path in life. No matter where Bobbie was, she was the spark that could enlighten an entire room.

There are not enough words to properly tell the story of who Bobbie Calio was. Bobbie brought light to darkness in the lives of everyone she encountered. She was loved and admired by everyone around her because of the love and admiration she gave.

There will be no visitation for Roberta, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
