He treasured his role as "Pap Pap," delighting in playing chase and spending quality time with his grandchildren, Finnegan and Graham McHenry. Ronald was an avid sports enthusiast, passionately supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pitt, and West Virginia University football teams. Above all, his heart belonged to the Pittsburgh Penguins, for whom he held the deepest affection.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Labishak) Gebet; his daughter, Jacqueline (Matthew) McHenry; grandchildren, Finnegan and Graham McHenry; and his brother, Gary (Natalie) Gebet. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Frances Marie (Trella) Gebet.
