Ronald J. Lapko

Ronald Lapko of Munhall passed away at the age of 68. 

He has been reunited with his mother, Lena, father, Edward, and his brother, Edward Jr. (Marlene). 

He is survived by his two sons, who he was so proud of, Nicholas Lapko and Jesse (Amie) Lapko, his granddaughter Rosaline Lapko, who was the light of his life and cherished every moment he spent with her.

Also survived by his three siblings Michael (Stacey) Lapko, Linda (Bruce) Barr, and Betty Ann (Gary) Ogg, as well as, many nieces and nephews.

He and his brother were the owners of one of the longest standing bars on 8th Avenue in Homestead, Lapko's Bar and Grill, which has been passed on to them from their late parents. 

Ron graduated from Bishop Boyle High School Class of 1972 and enjoyed sharing stories of his time there. He also loved just sitting down with others talking about cars, movies, and recipes.

Though his time on Earth has ended, his distinct voice, his laugh, and the memories that come along with it will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, Ronald's family asks that you consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital in his honor.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 1 St. Therese Court, Munhall PA 15120, on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 10 AM with Fr.
