Ronald Roy Trbovich

Ronald Roy Trbovich, age 76 of Munhall, succumbed to complications from metastatic lung cancer on August 21st. He was a man who was comfortable in any situation and whose daily routine included work, the bar, sports, and beer.

He was the loving husband of Pamela Floria, the subject of his affection, for 53 years, and the proud father of daughters Bobbi Jo (Randy) Rosol and Lisa Trbovich. Ron was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews who loved or tolerated his humor. His parents, Leona and Bosko Trbovich preceded him in death, as did his sister, Saundra (Beaird) of Lake Charles, LA, and his beloved dog Oreo (19 years).

Following in the steps of his father, he served in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga.  He later retired from the Port Authority of Allegheny County, where he was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union for over 50 years. Currently employed at the South Park Golf Course, he is also a member of the V.F.W., ZinZin Club, Masonic Lodge, Mifflin Club, and various other organizations.

Heartfelt gratitude extends to the pastors of Messiah Lutheran Church, friends, and neighbors for their unwavering prayers and solace during this time.

Arrangements are private and entrusted to the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc.  Please join us for a blessing during service on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 9:15 am in Messiah Lutheran Church, 4300 Main Street, Munhall, PA  15120 which will be followed by a celebration of Ron’s life at the Mifflin Social Club, Irene Street, West Mifflin from 12 – 3 pm.

Memorial donations may be made in Ron’s name to Messiah Lutheran Church, 4300 Main Street, Munhall, PA  15120.
